Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje seemed quite happy to announce Resurgent Rajasthan-2015 has drawn Rs 3.3 lakh crores with 2.5 lakh jobs on cards. Resurgent Rajasthan-2015 managed to sign 295 MoUs with potential to generate 2.5 lakh jobs. Moreover, she already promised about the creation of 15 lakh jobs during her current tenure.
Resurgent Rajasthan' was her brainchild, which Vasundhara Raje built hype and raised expectations as well during the prolonged run-up. She looked with full of emotions and happiness, at the time of announcing the final figures for proposed investments. It is because of the rich haul of Rs 3.30 lakh crore, which is almost double the size garnered by her during the maiden edition in 2007.
Remaining grounded, CM Vasundhara Raje said, "Under the able stewardship of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Centre is nurturing an ecosystem of strong, empowered states. We do not live in an economy but in a society. And that is why the Rajasthan model of development rests on the triad of social justice, effective governance and job creation."
At the that was for two days, projects worth Rs 10,000 crore have been committed by Ananth Kumar, chemicals and fertilizers minister. The atmosphere was roused by the leading lights of India as well as the presence of Central ministers.
