Federal Bank to open 100 branches tomorrow

Under the Bangalore Zone while, Karnataka will see 7 branches, Andhra Pradesh 3 branches and Goa 2 branches.

Federal Bank, one of the leading private sector banks, said it plans to open 100 branches on March 10, 2012 across India.  Under the initiative, the Bangalore Zone will add 12 new branches to existing 90 branches. With the addition of 100 more branches, the bank’s total branch network in the country would go to 938.

Under the Bangalore Zone while, Karnataka will see 7 branches, Andhra Pradesh 3 branches and Goa 2 branches.  Federal Bank Ltd Deputy General Manager & Zonal head R Sivakumar said currently, the bank has 18 branches in Bangalore and has been operating in the City since 1973. In Karnataka, the branches will be opened at Banashankari, Bangalore, Bhatkal, Chikodi, Hunsur, Khanapur, Kushal Nagar and Moodabidri
