Saudi seems to have a positive friendship with India, the Union defense Minister is in Saudi to discuss regarding the various impending issues between the two nations.
The Indian Defense Minister A K Anthony received a pompous welcome at Riyadh on his arrival last night. The Defense minister is to discuss with his Saudi counterpart on defense cooperation between the two countries. The minister is on a two day visit to the country.

His highness King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud met the Indian Minister in a brief 30 minutes schedule and discussed with over enhanced cooperation in strategic relations, especially in security, defense, economic and political fields, according to Indian defense ministry spokesman Sitanshu Kar, who is accompanying the Indian minister. During the meeting his highness is to have assured the Minister additional supply of crude oil, if we desired. He was also keen on strengthening relationship with India.

Mr Sitanshu noted that His Highness King Abdullah paid rich tributes to Indian immigrants who have played a key role in enriching the Saudi economy and the social life of Saudi Arabia. But the Defense Minister seemed to much inclined, on what transpires today while meeting the Prince Salman and Prince Khalid. India pins on this meeting, to deepen defense exchanges.
