Adipurush is one of the most awaited Indian films and it is made on a huge budget of Rs 500 crores. A major budget from the film is allocated for the VFX work. Om Raut is the director and Adipurush has Prabhas as Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon essaying the role of Sita and Saif Ali Khan playing Lankesh as Ravana in this mythological drama. The shoot of the film was completed in 90 days and the film's director Om Raut allocated a huge time for the post-production work. The teaser of the film failed to impress the audience and the audience trolled the teaser for the poor quality VFX content. The makers got alerted and the team is reworking on the VFX work.
The film now landed in legal troubles. A Delhi based advocate already filed a petition against the same saying that the team of Adipurush insulted Hindu gods. The case is under investigation in the court. The National Cine Worker Union (NCWU) sent a legal notice to director Om Raut, producer Bhushan Kumar and actors Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan that the film insults the Hindu religion and the gods. Several Hindu priests have said that the film is an insult for Hindus. The team of Adipurush is yet to respond for the allegations and controversy. The film is gearing up for release on January 12th 2023 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
