Talented actor Manoj Bajpayee is back into action with his latest outing titled Aligarh. The movie is creating lot of buzz all over as the movie is about a gay professor who gets suspended from his job because of sexual orientation. Manoj Bajpayee and Rajkumar Rao played the lead roles in the movie which has been directed by Hansal Mehta.

The movie created enough buzz and received a standing ovation after it has been screened at the 20th Busan International Film Festival. The movie faced censor issues and the makers were not happy with the cuts and they wanted to fight with the tribunal. But as the time was less for the tribunal to watch and certify the movie, the makers accepted the cuts suggested by the censor board.

Hansal Mehta revealed saying “The censor board suggested some cuts which did not disturb the flow of the movie which made us accept the cuts. We have no time to fight and we are eagerly waiting for the response”.

Aligarh produced by Eros International and Karma Productions has been slated for February 26th release.
