Analysis
The first half of Running Shaadi has been completely refreshing and the entertainment throughout keeps the film going. The movie has enough interest and the gripping narration makes the movie pass your time. The love story has been fresh and the songs have been shot well. The interval episodes turn the film interesting and on the whole the first half of Running Shaadi has been showcased well though it has nothing much to reveal.
The second half of Running Shaadi dips down completely as the major plot has been kept aside. The confusing narration will sure irritate the audience and is a huge disappointment. The songs have been decent and the performances by the lead actors are the only savior of Running Shaadi. Though the film picks up during the pre-climax episodes, the climax has been completely outdated and predictable. On the whole the second half of Running Shaadi is sure a disappointment.
Performance
Running Shaadi has Amit Sadh playing the lead role and his performance is the major highlight of the film. He did the role of Ram with ease and his performance is one of the major highlights of the film. Tapsee who has been natural in her recent outings has been stunning and entertaining throughout the film. Her performance has been subtle and will sure steal your hearts. All the other actors looked decent and they have been apt.
The story of the film looks interesting but the screenplay and the dialogues look completely clumsy. The music and the background score looked decent and soothing. The cinematography captured some beautiful locales of North and the editing has been ok. The production values too looked decent and the director failed to make the audience sit engaging.
Final Word
Amit Sadh and Tapsee Pannu steal the show with their flawless performances however the second half of the film falls flat in entertaining the audience.
