Story
The story revolves around a young Punjabi girl (played by Kangana Ranaut) whose fiancee (Rajkummar Rao) dumps her two days before the nuptial. The young girl from New Delhi's Rajouri Garden decides to take her honeymoon trip alone, which was pre-booked, to France and Amsterdam. It's here that Kangana's character reinvents the woman in herself.
Analysis :
The film is perfect in all aspects. It deserves a five on five for acting, a social message as well as the cinematography. ''Queen'' will make you fall in love with Kangana's performance. Uptil now, it's the best. Kangana plays the role of a young confused Punjabi girl with perfection. She successfully brings out the confusion of the girl who never stepped out of her house without her parents with brilliance. It's because of her acting that you won't feel the length of the film, which would seem considerable at the onset.
Vikas Bahl proves his brilliance in every frame of the film. The fact that a lot of pre-shoot planning went into the movie is evident as there are no loose ends. The scenes have been well planned. Also the placing of each scene is perfect. The film has a social message for all Indian women – no matter what the situation is a woman can always emerge out of it with aplomb.
Performance :
Kangana’s acting in 'Queen' is the best-ever performance by the actress till date. In this film the actress has proved that Kangana she is indeed a ‘Queen' forever! You will definitely fall in love with her performance.
'Queen' will keep you glued to your seats till the last scene.
