Bollywood actress Dia Mirza looked stunning on her mehndi ceremony day. The former beauty queen wore an ethnic outfit designed by Ritu Kumar. The pretty actress looked happy in a marigold yellow chanderi multi-panelled kurta.

The pre-wedding ceremony was held in Delhi on Thursday. Dia Mirza is getting married to her filmmaker beau Sahil Sangha on Saturday.

Fashion designer Ritu Kumar, while talking about the regal looking outfit, said the kurta's vintage cut was inspired from the courts of Agra prevalent in the 15th century. "The neck is deep and worked in embroidered gota patti on net like the technique used at the time," said Ritu Kumar.

The kurta has gold metallic taar work, which has been used in a stylish manner. Each panel is highlighted with a flowering buta. The outfit comes with fuschia odhni, with small butis of the same beaten gold gota patti. A fuschia brocade deep sinjaf finishes the edges of the outfit, said Ritu Kumar.

Dia posted her mehndi ceremony look on her Tweeter page. The picture shows Dia smiling prettily along with her fiance Sahil. Along with the picture Dia wrote: "With my happiness :) thank you to all those who have conveyed such warm messages here. Sahil and I are grateful."

Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha got engaged earlier this year in New York.
